Rough Draft
Terrible art. Great guesses.
Rough Draft is a drawing and guessing party game. One player draws a secret word on their phone, every stroke appears live on the TV, and everyone else races to type the right guess on theirs.

How a round works
- Draw or guessDrawer: pick a secret word. Everyone else: type guesses.
- Live on the TVEvery stroke streams to the big screen as you draw it.
- Faster guess, more pointsNobody gets it? The drawer takes the hit.
The drawer picks a secret word and starts sketching. Guesses are forgiving: a one-letter typo on a longer word still counts, and near misses get a โcloseโ hint. The host sets the length: 3 drawers, everyone once, or twice around.
Scoring
The faster you guess, the more you score. If nobody guesses the word, the drawer loses 200; players who miss lose 100.
Sample words
A few real ones from the deck. Every room picks a vibe: Chill, Party or Unhinged.
- Draw: hot air balloon
- Draw: brain freeze
- Draw: garden gnome
- Draw: awkward silence
- Draw: self checkout
Best for
- Mixed groups where not everyone loves talking
- Anyone who thinks they cannot draw (that is the point)
- Big screens: the live strokes are the show
Pro tip: A confident wrong drawing beats a nervous right one.
