Cackle

Slightly Off

One of you got a different question.

Slightly Off is a party game of bluffing and detective work. Everyone answers the same question on their phone, except one player who got a slightly different one and is not told. The answers hit the TV with no names, and the room has to find the odd one out.

How a round works

  1. Answer your questionEveryone gets the same one. Except one player. Shh.
  2. Read the notesAnonymous answers hit the TV. Talk it out.
  3. Vote the odd one outCatch the decoy. The TV reveals the real question.

Write your answer in 25 seconds. The TV then shows the answers as anonymous numbered notes, and you get 40 seconds to talk it out. Everyone votes, including the decoy, who is trying to blend in. Then the TV flips to the real question and reveals who was caught.

Scoring

Vote for the decoy and score 200, caught or not. A caught decoy loses points. A decoy who gets away scores 400 and can hand points to another player. Wrongly accused players lose a little. Points only.

Sample prompts
